Information we collect

When you contact Hy Stitches, create an account, join the newsletter, request custom work, or place an order, we may collect information such as your name, email address, telephone number, shipping address, order details, and the measurements, colors, materials, designs, or other instructions needed for your project.

When payment is available, payment details may be handled by the payment service used to complete the transaction. Hy Stitches may receive transaction confirmations and records needed to fulfill the order without receiving every detail entered with that service.

How we use information

We use this information to respond to questions, prepare and fulfill orders, discuss and produce custom work, provide account and customer support, send requested newsletter updates, maintain business records, prevent misuse, and operate and improve this self-hosted storefront.

The storefront uses essential session cookies to keep features such as your cart, account sign-in, and form security working. The server may also process basic request information, such as an IP address, browser information, and the requested page, as needed to deliver the site, limit abuse, protect accounts, and troubleshoot reliability problems.

How information is shared

Hy Stitches does not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only as reasonably needed with services that help operate the business, such as hosting, email, payment, and shipping providers, or when disclosure is required by law. These providers receive only the information needed for their role.

Retention and choices

We keep information for as long as it is reasonably needed to provide services, maintain required business records, resolve concerns, and meet legal obligations. You may unsubscribe from newsletter messages at any time. You may also ask about, correct, or request deletion of personal information, subject to records Hy Stitches must retain.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate for a small business. No website or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure, so please do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers, or other unnecessary sensitive information through a general contact form.
